In March 2024, Life Resilience Training Inc. (ShivYog Canada) hosted a transformative mindfulness session at the University of British Columbia (UBC) led by Dr. Ishan Shivanand. This session provided students with valuable insights into Apasmar (अपस्मार)—the disruption of inner awareness—and its impact on various aspects of life. Through this knowledge, participants learned how to overcome internal obstacles and optimize their performance in both academic and personal pursuits.
The event focused on the science of mindfulness and its application in managing stress, improving concentration, and enhancing emotional resilience. Prof. Ishan Shivanand shared practical techniques rooted in ancient wisdom and modern neuroscience to help students achieve peak mental and emotional well-being.
